A Blessing

Early this morning I had the privilege of being a part of a 20 hour prayer chain as a dear friend and her husband (along with a nurse) are traveling home with their precious adopted daughter from the same country as our little girl. God has performed many miracles in and through Katie's adoption and it has been such a blessing to walk with this family through this journey. To see pictures of precious Katie and to learn more about her story, you can visit their blog at

When God first called us to begin this adoption journey I really felt that He was going to use this experience to teach us many things. And let me tell you---that is exactly what He has done! God has used this adoption journey to grow us in so many ways. We have learned so much about trusting Him, obeying Him, hearing His voice, and looking for Him all around us! God is constantly at work if we are willing to see what He is doing. He has blessed me with the support of a group of amazing Godly women who are walking through this same adoption process that we are. God has used these moms and their stories to teach me so much! I am just feeling very grateful this morning for all that God has done in my life through this adoption and for the privilege of getting to be our beautiful little girls' mommy! I am also thankful for the precious time that I had in prayer with my Lord and Savior this morning!

Blessings to all of you,

Thank you!

We have had some generous contributions recently to our sponsorship fund for Daisey's adoption. In order to find out who contributed we have to request that info from Reece's Rainbow, and we try not to bug them too often to ask for that information. We know that there are probably people who have contributed who we do not know and therefore will never have a way of sending a "thank you" note. So, we would just like to say THANK YOU so much to everyone who has contributed. Thank you for your love offering, and for representing the hands and feet of Jesus to help us bring our precious girl home! We appreciate it more than words can say!

With grateful hearts,
Mike and Gail
