News!

We are the proud and grateful parents of Ana Faith Kenyon! 1 Thessalonians 5:24 "The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it." Thank you to everyone who has been praying for our court hearing! We are praising the Lord in the Kenyon house this morning!

Court

We have a court date!!!! It is May 29th at 9:30 am (so that is 2:30 am EST). We are praising the Lord!!!!! Thank you so much to everyone who has been praying!

We are getting closer, Sweet Ana Girl! Mommy and Daddy will be there soon!

Small Update

We heard from our case worker today that a judge has been assigned to our case!!! Thank you so much to everyone who have been praying. Please continue!!!!

Still Waiting

We are still waiting for a court date. I know that so many of you are praying for us, and this is what is helping us get through this wait time. Thank you so much! Please continue! I wanted to post one of my favorite pictures of Ana. I think her eyes are saying, "Okay, Mommy...I'm ready. Come and get me!" We are coming, Sweet Girl...by God's grace and His faithfulness we are coming!!!!

More Waiting :)

I just wanted to update to let you all know where we are in the process. We are currently waiting to have our case submitted to court. We are hoping to hear something any day at any moment :). I think that I have already checked my e-mail 13 times today hoping to hear something from our case worker...and it is only 10:30 am! So, you can all clearly see how I am doing with the waiting :).

We know that so many of you have faithfully been praying for us throughout this journey. Please continue. We are getting so close to bringing our precious little girl home, but there are still major parts of this process that need to be completed. It helps us so much to know that others are praying for us, and for Ana! Thank you!!!

I promise to post as soon as we get a court date!

Throughout our adoption journey I have been praying that God would break my heart for what breaks His! And He has answered my prayer! He has slowly broken my heart over the needs of orphans! I have cried uncontrollable tears over the pictures of so many children. I have cried out to the Lord on their behalf. And I have spent many sleepless nights thinking about nothing else but their lonely eyes and their sweet faces.

So, today I am advocating for two of these precious, precious children. Both of these girls are not in good situations and desperately need homes and to be shown the love of Christ.
